Our

Catholic Faith

“Our profession of faith begins with God, for God is the First and the Last, the beginning and the end of everything. The Credo begins with God the Father, for the Father is the first divine person of the Most Holy Trinity; our Creed begins with the creation of heaven and earth, for creation is the beginning and the foundation of all God’s works.”
— The Catechism of the Catholic Church, no. 198

Saint Anthony Catholic School is a VPK-8 school founded on faith, joined in prayer, and kept by God. Our Christ-centered approach provides for the spiritual growth and prosperity of our students. Here, they learn what it means to truly live and breathe their faith.

Our Faith-Filled Practices:

Our students participate in faith-filled routines each day and throughout the year. These include:

  • Daily schoolwide and classroom prayer, from morning assembly to dismissal.
  • Weekly Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, offered by our parish. Classes are invited and encouraged to attend often.
  • Celebration of the Holy Mass every week as a school community.
  • Regular opportunities for confession throughout the school year.
  • Community service, where we give our time, talents, and treasures to support those in need locally and globally.
  • Special events like the Blessing of the Animals, Living Rosary, Stations of the Cross, May Crowning, and the Christmas program.

Faith at the Heart of Education

At Saint Anthony Catholic School, Eucharistic faith and Catholic beliefs are the foundation of everything we do. As a diocesan-led school within the Diocese of St. Petersburg, Florida, we operate under the guidance and authority of the Most Reverend Bishop Gregory L. Parkes. Our mission is to deliver a quality Catholic education while guiding students on their personal faith journeys.

In addition, we are committed to weaving faith practices into every part of the school day. Our goal is to develop well-rounded students who are academically prepared and deeply rooted in a faith-filled community.

Living Our Catholic Faith

Faith is present in every aspect of academic study and daily life. Students engage in regular practices that strengthen their connection to Catholic teachings. As a result, they learn to integrate their beliefs into their everyday experiences.

Our Catholic School Curriculum

We blend faith, culture, and life experiences into all learning. In doing so, students build meaningful connections between their beliefs, their communities, and the world around them.

At the core of our mission is a strong Eucharistic foundation. By combining our rigorous academic program with Catholic values, Christ remains central to all we do—from athletics to modern technology.

Students also take part in daily religion classes, which support both spiritual growth and sacramental preparation. Through this faith-filled education, we guide our elementary and middle school students to grow spiritually, academically, and socially. Most importantly, we empower them to live out their Catholic faith in meaningful ways.

Faith Resources for Families

“It is in the context of the family that we first learn who God is and prayerfully seek His will for us.”

We encourage parents and guardians to grow spiritually alongside their children, creating a faith-filled family life. With many faith formation opportunities available, adults can deepen their understanding of Catholic teachings while actively living out their beliefs at home. By embracing faith as a family, households can become vibrant domestic churches.
